Job Description
- The role entails supporting the Credit Risk team of a global bank, in analysing their retail lending products (such as mortgages, credit cards, loans and overdrafts)
- Supporting loan origination activities such as loan approvals/declines, credit line assignment, risk-based loan pricing, limit setting, loan loss modelling, line increase/decrease, etc.
- Credit risk management of the assigned retail portfolio and performing loan analytics (such as stress testing, sensitivity analysis)
- Suggesting and providing support during implementation of credit strategies across the loan life cycle (from origination to recovery/collection)
- Creating interactive dashboards to visually represent and review key metrics and performance/trends for the underlying retail lending portfolio
- Generating MIS, business insights and highlighting portfolio hotspots by deploying available data and applying statistical tools/techniques
- Regular interaction with the client to discuss loan origination/management strategies, visualisation dashboards as well as workflow
