Job Description

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Home Room Teachers (also referred to as Mother Teachers) for Class 2. This role is pivotal in ensuring the emotional, social, and academic development of young learners through a nurturing, student-centric approach. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for students and parents, managing core subjects and fostering a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary teacher for a Class 2 cohort, teaching core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. Foster a warm and secure environment to support students' emotional well-being and holistic development. Observe and monitor students' academic progress, behavioral development, and emotional needs. Coordinate with subject teachers to ensure curriculum alignment and student support. Maintain regular communication with parents through meetings, updates, and progress reports. Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities and assessments. Promote values such as empathy, responsibility, and collaboration within the classroom. Support school events, extracurricular activities, and classroom management tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent; Montessori Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary grades. Strong command over English and effective communication skills. Ability to connect with young children and manage a classroom with patience and empathy. Familiarity with modern pedagogical practices and child-centered teaching methods.
