The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification:
B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing / General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
Language:
Must be proficient in
Hindi
for effective communication with the patient and family.
Experience:
Proven experience in complex home care settings, particularly with patients requiring respiratory support is
highly preferred
.
Core Responsibilities and Skills
The primary duties require expertise in the following areas of specialized care:
Respiratory Care:
Tracheostomy Care:
Meticulous maintenance, cleaning, and complication monitoring of the tracheostomy site.
Suctioning: Performing oral, and tracheal suctioning as needed to maintain a clear airway.
Nebulization:Administering prescribed respiratory medications via nebulizer.
Chest Physiotherapy/Massage: Performing chest massage and percussion techniques to aid in secretion clearance.
Nutritional Support:
Ryle's Tube (RT) Feeding:
Preparation and administration of formula via nasogastric tube (NG tube), and meticulous tube care.
Meal Provision:
Assistance with meals provided by the family/household.
Mobility & Positioning:
Patient Positioning:
Regular turning and positioning of the patient to prevent bedsores (pressure ulcers) and improve comfort.
