Job Description

We are a cutting-edge Home Automation Company seeking a talented and tech-savvy Home Automation Programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in programming and configuring smart home control systems like Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or KNX, and a passion for creating seamless and intelligent living experiences.

This role does not involve PLC programming and is focused solely on residential and commercial smart home technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and configure home automation platforms (e.g., Control4, Crestron, Lutron, KNX).

Design custom automation scenes for lighting, HVAC, security, AV systems, and smart devices.

Integrate third-party smart home devices (e.g., Alexa, Google Assistant, IP cameras, smart TVs).

Work closely with system designers, electricians, and installers to ensure seamless deployment.

Provide on-site or remote troubleshooting and technical support to clients.

Conduct testing and ensure all automation components are functioning correctly.

Maintain up-to-date documentation for all system configurations and changes.

Stay informed about the latest trends in smart home technology and automation tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with at least one home automation platform (e.g., Control4, Crestron, KNX, or Lutron).

Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical wiring, and smart home devices.

Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, IP, Zigbee, Z-Wave, MQTT).

Strong logical thinking and troubleshooting ability.

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.

Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and support clients.
