Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Department (HOD) Fine Arts. The HOD Fine Arts will oversee the Fine Arts department and shall perform the following key responsibilities/skills:

Lead curriculum planning, pedagogy, and faculty development in Fine Arts. Teach senior-level Fine Arts, guide students' art portfolios, and prepare them for board/university requirements. Organise art exhibitions, inter-school competitions, and cultural showcases. Proficiency in multiple mediums: painting, sketching, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, applied arts, and digital/media arts. Strong understanding of assessment standards for ICSE/ISC and Cambridge IGCSE/A Levels. Ability to guide students in building portfolios for top global universities. Familiarity with integrating art with technology (graphic design, digital illustration, multimedia).

Qualifications

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Fine Arts or related field Minimum 10 years of experience in Fine Arts teaching Strong skills in Art, Painting, and Fine Art Leadership and mentoring skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven experience in managing a department in an educational setting
