Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all academic and administrative activities of the Pharmacy Department
Ensure high standards in teaching, practical labs, and student assessments
Mentor and evaluate faculty performance, promoting professional development and research
Promote research activities, publications, and collaborations with industry
Oversee student progress, discipline, and academic counseling
Organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures to enhance learning and industry exposure
Manage departmental budget, resources, and operational planning
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Qualification:
PhD in Pharmacy
Experience:
Minimum
8-10 years
of academic and/or research experience, with leadership roles preferred
Proven experience in faculty management and departmental administration
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strategic planning and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in academic management systems and MS Office
Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and student development
