Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager / HOD-level professional to oversee and grow our customer base in the Gujarat market. The ideal candidate must have proven expertise in managing ocean exports and handling operations for clients in the tiles, ceramics, or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end operations related to customer acquisition, onboarding, and service in the Gujarat region. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners. Ensure timely and accurate execution of ocean export documentation and logistics. Coordinate with internal teams--sales, logistics, finance, and compliance--for smooth order processing and fulfillment. Analyze and resolve customer complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and service excellence. Forecast demand, manage inventory requirements, and align operations to market needs. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the Gujarat region. Mentor and lead a team to ensure delivery of performance KPIs and business goals.

Key Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Supply Chain, or relevant field. Minimum 10 years of experience in operations/customer management, with at least 5 years handling ocean exports.

Industry experience in tiles, ceramics, building materials, or allied exports is preferred.

Strong understanding of customer behavior in the Gujarat market. Proficient in export documentation, international logistics, and trade regulations. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Willingness to travel to Gujarat for client meetings periodically.
