We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Head of Department (Mathematics)

to lead the Mathematics department. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, proven leadership skills, and a passion for fostering academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Mathematics department, ensuring effective teaching practices and high academic standards. Develop, review, and update curriculum plans in alignment with school goals and examination requirements. Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to Mathematics faculty members. Monitor teaching methodologies, ensuring innovative and student-centered approaches. Assess students' performance and implement strategies to improve learning outcomes. Organize departmental meetings, workshops, and teacher training programs. Collaborate with school leadership to design academic plans and support student achievements. Ensure effective use of teaching resources and maintain discipline in the classroom. Prepare departmental reports and contribute to school policies and planning.

Requirements:

Postgraduate degree (M.Sc in Mathematics) with B.Ed is mandatory. Minimum

3 years of experience

in teaching/academic leadership. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to motivate staff and students towards excellence. Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and assessment practices.
