Job Summary

The Head of Operations is a leadership role responsible for strategizing and leading the design of special-purpose machines and integrated industrial platforms. The primary focus is driving innovation for unique equipment across sectors such as manufacturing, defense, and marine while ensuring project execution remains within budget and timeline constraints.

These are the essential requirements for the role as specified in the job description:

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or a related field.

Leadership Experience:

Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and facilitating communication between internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Design Expertise:

Practical understanding and experience in designing systems involving: Heat transfer and thermodynamics. Fluid mechanics, kinematics, and dynamics. Machine design principles and strength of materials.

Project Management:

Expertise in assessing risk factors, computing ROI, and planning project timelines (Gantt charts).

Software Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with core engineering software such as

AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Ansys (FEA/FEM)

.

Strategic Execution:

Ability to conceptualize and execute strategies for special-purpose machines and electromechanical systems.

Good-to-Have Criteria

The following skills and experiences are considered beneficial but not strictly mandatory:

Programming Skills:

Prior experience with

G-code programming

or programming for CNCs.
Basic knowledge of coding languages like

C, Java, or Python

.

Thought Leadership:

Being in a position to provide a point of view (POV) through writing blogs, LinkedIn posts, or presenting at industrial conferences.

Advanced Simulation:

Implementation of simulation-based testing and analysis to drive efficient workflows.

Mentorship:

A focus on fostering collaboration and mentoring team members to enhance technical expertise.

Salary & Market Context

25 to 30 Lakhs per annum

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
