Location -Pune Experience - 3 to 6 Years Qualification - B.E / Btech Role Description: HMI engineer will be responsible for the development of HMIs from early definition through to release for production programs. He/She will be expected to work closely with Vendor & other systems engineering teams such as wiring harness, HV aggregates, Diagnostics, Connectivity and Functional Safety Team. Work Experience: Knowledge of Automotive Electrical & Electronics components. . Expected to have sound Vehicular Knowledge. CAN Communication, Component level testing & Vehicle Level Validations. Knowledge of auto electrical trouble shooting .Knowledge of EE product development process for automotive application. Strong knowledge of CA N, LIN, UDS and J1939 protocol. Expected knowledge of communication protocols & controller interfaces along with sensors and actu ators. Required to have analytical and logical reasoning experience to provide solution to Troubleshoot issues observed in automotive EE domain. Understand the technical specification for hardware and software development. Strategically interact with development partners & CFTs on technical front in realising the product and functionalities under development. Elicit and manage detail ed HMI requirements. Exposure to Team Centre (PLM), release process & engineering change management is add-on advantage. Review system requirements from integration teams, Fusa requirements from the Functional Safety team and ensure these are satisfied by the HMI design proposal. Interface to the Test & Validation team to ensure appropriate DVP and test coverage. To undertake and assist with duties as required by Manager.
