Job Opening: Secondary School Social Studies Teacher (History Background) CBSE School, Whitefield, Bangalore

Are you passionate about history and shaping young minds? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Studies Teacher with a strong background in History to join our CBSE-affiliated school in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Studies to secondary school students (Grades 6-10), with a focus on History.

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

- Foster critical thinking, discussion, and inquiry-based learning in the classroom.

- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.

- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.

- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Masters degree in History B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred. Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in a school. Strong command of English with excellent communication and classroom management skills. Passionate about education and fostering a positive learning environment.
