Job Overview

Aditya School of Banking is looking for an experienced and dedicated History Teacher to prepare students for ADRE, DME, Assam Police, and other competitive examinations. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, exam-oriented teaching skills, and the ability to simplify concepts for aspirants.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Indian History and Assam History as per ADRE, DME, Assam Police exam syllabus

Cover topics such as Ancient, Medieval, Modern History, and Assam-specific history

Prepare students with exam-oriented notes, MCQs, and practice questions

Conduct regular tests, revisions, and doubt-clearing sessions

Guide students on important previous year questions and expected topics

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom

Coordinate with the academic team for syllabus planning and updates

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation/Post-Graduation in History or related discipline

Experience in teaching competitive exams (ADRE/DME/Police/SSC/State Exams preferred)

Strong command over factual and conceptual history

Ability to teach in English / Assamese / Hindi (any two preferred)

Good communication and classroom management skills

Experience

Freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply

Teaching experience in competitive exam coaching will be an added advantage

Job Type & Timings

Part-Time: Morning / Evening batches

Full-Time: Fixed teaching hours as per institute schedule
