Role Overview

We are looking for a

Senior Cloud / Software Development Engineer

to work on

Web Application Firewall (WAF) and CDN edge platforms

. This role focuses on building high-performance, low-latency security runtimes operating at global edge PoPs. You will work on performance-critical systems where

CPU efficiency, memory optimization, and request latency

are key success factors.

What You Will Build

Optimize

WAF runtime performance

, reducing CPU usage and request latency Develop

Lua-based WAF rules

with advanced request inspection and pattern matching Integrate

threat intelligence

for improved attack detection and response Implement

caching and runtime optimizations

for high-throughput environments Collaborate closely with

Control Plane and SRE teams

on telemetry and system management
Core Challenges

Application-layer (L7) DDoS mitigation and attack detection Performance optimization in large-scale CDN edge environments Writing highly efficient, production-grade code Balancing security rule complexity with runtime performance
Required Skills

Working knowledge of

Nginx and Lua scripting

Strong foundation in

algorithms and data structures

Understanding of

WAF concepts and HTTP/HTTPS security

Strong

Linux systems

knowledge Willingness to learn and deepen expertise in

edge computing and security platforms

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹1,700,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
