Summary:
The Sales Associate - Field Sales plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding Linde's market presence within the assigned territory. Reporting through 2COMS Consultancy Pvt Ltd, this long-term contractual position focuses on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while actively acquiring new business. The role demands consistent on-ground engagement, strategic account management, and a deep understanding of industrial and specialty gas solutions. Success in this position directly contributes to achieving business objectives, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards across all customer interactions.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive field sales, prospecting, and market development initiatives
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing industrial and commercial customers to ensure retention and growth
  • Promote and sell Linde's portfolio of industrial gases, bulk gases, cylinders, and value-added gas solutions
  • Conduct regular customer visits to assess needs and deliver tailored, technical solutions
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales orders effectively
  • Consistently achieve individual and team sales targets as defined in the annual business plan
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and company policies during all customer engagements
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, engineering, and customer service to ensure seamless order execution
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and pricing movements to inform sales planning
  • Support timely payment collection and ensure compliance with credit control policies
Requirements
Requirements:
  • Graduate in any discipline; Engineering or MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred
  • 3-6 years of proven B2B field sales experience, ideally in industrial gases, chemicals, manufacturing, or related sectors
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications
  • Customer-centric mindset, driven by targets, and committed to safety and compliance
