Vacancy Type - Project Engineer on site DepartmentDesignation - Project EngineerQualification - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/EEE)Location - As mentioned aboveExperience - 2-4 YearsSkills Required - Hands on Siemens hardware & software, PCS7 skill will be added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Design and Implement Automation Systems:This includes developing PLC programs using TIA Portal, configuring and testing automation systems, and collaborating with other engineers and technicians.Maintain and Troubleshoot Systems:The engineer would handle routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair of automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, and related hardware.Commissioning and Testing:Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) to ensure systems meet specifications and are operational.Process Optimization:Identify areas for improvement in automation processes and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation of systems and processes, and prepare reports on performance and issues.Training and Support:Provide training to operators and support staff on the use of automation systems.Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong technical skills in automation, including PLC programming (S7-1500 preferred), and automation software (TIA Portal).

• Experience with various automation hardware and software, including HMIs, sensors, and field devices.

• Knowledge of electrical control systems, networking, and safety procedures.

• Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Specific Siemens Context:

• Experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300/400/1200/1500) is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with PCS7 and CFC charts is beneficial.

• Understanding of Siemens' automation products and solutions is an asset.

• Potential for international travel to other Siemens locations and customer sites.
