Job Description

We are looking for a nurturing, energetic, and creative Pre-Primary Teacher to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and capable of fostering a warm and engaging learning environment for young learners. The teacher will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for students' academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with the early childhood curriculum. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. Teach foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and motor development. Use storytelling, rhymes, play-based learning, art, and music to engage students. Monitor and document children's progress through observations, assessments, and reports. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities. Support emotional, social, and moral development through positive reinforcement and modeling behavior. Organize events and participate in school programs, celebrations, and parent-teacher meetings. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum planning and teaching practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education / Montessori Training / NTT (Nursery Teacher Training) or equivalent. Prior experience in teaching pre-primary classes preferred. Excellent communication skills in English. Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of child development.

Desirable Skills:

Creativity and enthusiasm in lesson planning and classroom activities. Strong classroom management and child engagement skills. Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a positive work environment. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
