Summary:
The Migration Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring seamless and accurate data transition from ENOVIA VPM v5 to 3DEXPERIENCE (on-premises). This role requires deep technical expertise in data migration tools such as DBDI, TFT, and FBDI (optional), with a strong focus on data integrity, mapping accuracy, and system coexistence. The ideal candidate will lead complex migration initiatives, design and execute data cleansing and transformation strategies, and resolve migration challenges related to contextual links, document relationships, and master data. Their work ensures that enterprise data is accurately and efficiently transferred, maintaining consistency, compliance, and performance across systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects from ENOVIA VPM v5 to 3DEXPERIENCE (on-prem).

• Design and implement data mapping strategies using DBDI, including custom scripts and mapping rules.

• Execute migration of complex data elements such as contextual links, document-to-document links, relationships, and documentation links.

• Manage master data and coexistence strategies during migration to ensure system continuity.

• Develop and apply data cleansing and transformation rules to ensure high data quality and integrity.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve migration issues related to data inconsistencies, configuration mismatches, and system dependencies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate migration outcomes and support post-migration validation.

• Maintain detailed documentation of migration processes, configurations, and issue resolutions.

Requirements
Requirements:

• 4-8 years of professional experience in data migration and system integration.

• Minimum 3.5 years of hands-on experience with DBDI and Transition Factory Tools (TFT) for data migration.

• Proven experience in migrating data from ENOVIA VPM v5 to 3DEXPERIENCE (on-prem).

• In-depth knowledge of DBDI, including data mapping, custom scripting, and migration issue resolution.

• Strong understanding of ENOVIA VPM and 3DEXPERIENCE architecture, data models, and object relationships.

• Experience in defining and executing data cleansing and transformation strategies.

• Familiarity with FBDI (optional but preferred).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
