About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging

IGCSE History Tutor for Grade 10

who can deliver high-quality online classes twice a week. The ideal candidate should have strong familiarity with the Cambridge/Edexcel IGCSE History curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping students understand historical concepts, events, and analytical writing.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct online History tutoring sessions for Grade 10 students as per IGCSE syllabus. Teach key historical themes, world history topics, and examination skills. Prepare students for assessments, assignments, and IGCSE board exams. Provide personalized support based on the students learning pace. Share regular progress updates with parents/student. Maintain engaging learning environments using digital tools and interactive methods.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors or Masters degree in History or related field. Prior experience teaching IGCSE History (mandatory). Strong understanding of Cambridge/Edexcel IGCSE curriculum structure. Excellent communication and online teaching skills. Ability to explain complex historical concepts clearly and analytically. Patient, professional, and student-focused teaching approach.

Preferred Skills

Experience with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) Ability to provide practice worksheets, past papers, and exam strategies. Familiarity with assessment patterns and marking schemes.
