Role Overview



The Home Service Executive is responsible for providing

doorstep spectacle repair and after-sales support

to customers. The role focuses on resolving product issues such as frame repairs, adjustments, fitting concerns, and minor technical fixes to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



1. Spectacle Repair & Adjustments



Perform on-site frame repairs: Screw tightening Nose-pad replacement Temple and frame alignment Hinge tightening Minor break fixes (if possible) Check lens fitting, looseness, or alignment issues and correct them.

2. Product Issue Diagnosis



Identify root causes of vision or comfort complaints. Inspect lenses for scratches, coating issues, power mismatch, or fitting problems. Recommend replacements/remakes when repairs are not feasible.

3. Doorstep Customer Support



Visit customers at home for service requests. Explain the issue and repair process in simple terms. Provide guidance on proper handling and maintenance of spectacles.

4. Coordination & Reporting



Coordinate with store/service center for escalated repairs or replacements. Update service records, customer feedback, and visit reports daily. Maintain repair tools and service kits properly.

Skills & Qualifications



Education:



12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate preferred.

Experience:



1-3 years in optical service, eyewear repair, customer service, or field service roles. Hands-on repair experience is a plus (training will be provided).

Skills Required:



Strong knowledge of basic specs repair techniques. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability. Two-wheeler with valid driving license is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:



Willingness to travel to customer locations. Professional appearance and behavior. Customer-first mindset with a service-oriented approach.
