Lead and manage academic programs and activities in the Primary Section.
Oversee curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and classroom effectiveness.
Ensure teaching standards align with school goals.
Teacher Support & Development:
Guide teachers with planning, assessments, and classroom management.
Observe classes and provide constructive feedback (minimum twice per teacher monthly).
Conduct and coordinate professional development sessions.
Mentor new educators and lead the induction program.
Student Progress & Assessments:
Monitor academic performance of students through regular assessments.
Analyze results and ensure timely remedial action is taken.
Oversee exam preparation, homework policies, and written assessments.
Coordination & Communication:
Act as a link between the teaching team, parents (via SSD), and the Principal.
Facilitate teamwork, collaboration, and sharing of best practices.
Ensure effective parent communication as per school procedures.
Administrative Duties:
Support the Principal in staff management, timetabling, and school planning.
Coordinate with the Bangalore academic team for curriculum alignment.
Assist with textbook planning, resource allocation, and equipment management.
School Development:
Lead monthly and term reviews aligned with the School Development Plan.
Promote a culture of professionalism, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Education or relevant field
B.Ed. qualification is mandatory
Minimum 5 years of teaching and academic leadership experience
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Familiarity with modern teaching methods and assessment tools
Experience in working with primary grades preferred
