Technical Requirements:

GIS & Remote Sensing expertise - solid understanding of both vector and raster data processing. Proficiency in handling shapefiles, KML, GeoTIFF formats. Software skills: AutoCAD & GIS software (use of AutoCAD for spatial data handling) Experience with key GIS tools: QGIS, Global Mapper (minimum ~1 year experience). Elevation data processing: Comfortable working with DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and DSM (Digital Surface Model), terrain analysis and elevation-based studies. Additional desirable skills: Point cloud data processing: familiarity with LAS format point cloud data, extracting elevation details and measurements. GIS automation: e.g., ArcPy scripting (Python) for GIS workflows. Remote sensing / photogrammetry: experience with UAV/drone imagery, satellite imagery; image processing techniques such as classification, correction, and GIS analysis. Experience with photogrammetry software (nice-to-have): Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape. Good verbal & written communication skills (for map/layout creation, reports, documentation). Flexible attitude, innovative thinking, able to work with minimal supervision, self-motivated.
Responsibilities:

Digitisation, editing, and spatial data analysis: converting CAD / plan drawings to GIS inputs, maintaining GIS database as per project standards. Execute photogrammetry data processing: convert UAV/drone/satellite inputs into usable geospatial products. Create map layouts, reports, document procedures as required by project. Perform image processing: image classification, image correction, analytics on UAV and satellite imagery to derive actionable information per project needs. Terrain & elevation-based analytics: use DEM/DSM data, perform terrain modeling, elevation assessments, grading quantity estimation (especially relevant given that Datasee's solutions cover solar project development phase) Point-cloud processing: classify and derive measurements/elevation from LAS data. Carry out research & development in UAV data analytics: propose/improve methodologies for geospatial analytics. Work with cross-functional teams (development, operations, construction) to supply GIS inputs and insights. Keep up to date with geospatial technologies, ensure delivered data/products align with company's standards and client requirements.
Qualification:

Bachelor's (B.E / B.Tech) or Master's (M.Tech) in Geoinformatics, Geography, Remote Sensing & GIS, or similar discipline. 1-3 years of relevant hands-on experience as per above technical responsibilities.
