JMAN Group is a fast-growing data engineering & data science consultancy. We work primarily with Private Equity Funds and their Portfolio Companies to create commercial value using Data & Artificial Intelligence. In addition, we also work with growth businesses, large corporates, multinationals, and charities.
We are headquartered in London with Offices in New York, London and Chennai. Our team of over 450 people is a unique blend of individuals with skills across commercial consulting, data science and software engineering.
We were founded by cousins Anush Newman (Co-founder & CEO) and Leo Valan (Co-founder & CTO) and have grown rapidly since 2019. In May 2023 we took a minority investment from Baird Capital and in January 2024 we opened an office in New York with the ambition of growing our US business to be as large as, if not bigger than, our European business by 2027.

As a Graduate Engineer, you will be part of dynamic project teams working on real-time challenges across Software Development, Data Engineering, and advanced technologies including Data Science, AI and Cloud.

• This is a foundational role where you will get hands-on experience across multiple technology domains, develop business-relevant applications, and contribute to CoE (Centre of Excellence)-driven initiatives.

Core Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain applications across various technologies.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in one or more programming languages.
Understand and implement basic concepts in software engineering and data handling.
Participate in end-to-end project execution--from requirement gathering to deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and analysts.
Understand how business requirements are translated into technical solutions that have a meaningful impact on our customers
Position Requirements
Education: B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/IT, Data Science, AIML, MCA, MSc IT
Passedout Year: 2025
Minimum years of Experience: 0-1yr Nature of Exp. /

Skills:

• Proficiency in software programming or programming fundamentals (in any language).

• Curiosity and willingness to learn full-stack development and/or data engineering.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to analyze problems logically and propose basic solutions.

Good to have:

• Hands-on on full stack programming.

• Exposure to databases, cloud platforms or data tools during academics/internships.

• Git or any version control tool awareness.

• Certifications if any
