Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
Serve food and drinks in accordance with hotel service standards.
Check guest satisfaction during service and promptly address any concerns or requests.
Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and ensure cleanliness in the dining area.
Handle billing procedures, present checks, and process payments efficiently.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to assist guests with inquiries or dietary needs.
Assist with buffet setups, room service orders, or banquet functions when required.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality qualification preferred).
1+ years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or fine dining environment an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk for long hours.
Capable of lifting and carrying trays, dishes, or beverage containers.
