Shuttering Carpenter
A Shuttering Carpenter is accountable for constructing, assembling, and disassembling formwork (shuttering) utilized in concrete construction.
Responsibilities:

• Interpret construction blueprints and technical specifications.

• Determine for work dimensions and necessary materials.

• Fabricate, shape, and construct timber, plywood, or metal formwork.

• Install and secure formwork in the appropriate positions.

• Utilize spirit levels, plumb bobs, and measuring tapes to guarantee precision.

• Ensure the formwork is robust enough to support wet concrete.

• Collaborate with steel fixers and masons during concrete pouring.

• Safely remove shuttering without causing damage to the concrete.

• Adhere to site safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, and boots.

• Ensure that structures comply with quality and safety standards.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
