Job Title: Team Lead - Technical SAP Business One (SAP B1) Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Technical SAP Business One Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in SAP B1 implementation, customization, integration, and technical solution delivery. The ideal candidate will lead SAP B1 technical projects, drive system enhancements, manage integrations with third-party applications, and mentor junior consultants while ensuring best practices and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Business One Technical Leadership

?

Lead end-to-end technical delivery for SAP B1 implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support projects.

?

Provide technical architecture and design guidance across SAP B1 solution components.

?

Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely and quality project outcomes.

Customization & Development

?

Design and develop SAP B1 custom solutions using:

o SAP B1 SDK (DI API/UI API)

o Add-ons development

o C#, .NET, VB.NET

?

? Develop and optimize Stored Procedures, SQL Queries, HANA/SQL Server objects.

?

? Create technical specifications, design documents, and developer guidelines.

Integration & Interfaces

?

? Lead integrations between SAP B1 and external systems (eCommerce, WMS, POS, CRM, third-party logistics, payment gateways, etc.).

?

? Work on middleware and API-based integrations using:

o REST/SOAP APIs

o Service Layer

o Integration frameworks/tools

?

? Ensure secure and scalable integration design aligned with enterprise architecture.

Support & Optimization

?

? Troubleshoot SAP B1 technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and system errors.

?

? Drive system optimization and enhancements for business stability and scalability.

?

? Ensure adherence to support SLAs and provide long-term fixes and preventive solutions.

Team & Stakeholder Management

?

? Mentor and guide SAP B1 technical consultants/developers in project execution.

?

? Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

?

? Participate in project planning, estimations, sprint planning (Agile), and delivery tracking.

Required Skills & Expertise

Core SAP Business One Skills

?

? Strong expertise in SAP Business One (SAP B1) architecture and development.

?

? Hands-on experience with:

o SAP B1 SDK (DI API, UI API)

o SAP B1 Service Layer

o Add-on development & customization

Technical Skills

?

? Strong programming experience in C# / .NET (preferred).

?

? Strong database skills in:

o MS SQL Server / SAP HANA

o Query optimization, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers

?

? Experience with:

o REST/SOAP APIs

o Integration design patterns & troubleshooting

Project/Leadership Skills

?

? Strong ownership and ability to lead technical delivery independently.

?

? Experience in handling multi-customer/multi-project environments.

?

? Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
