Job Title: Safety Officer Location: Ahmedabad Experience: 2 to 4 Years Salary: ?25,000 - ?40,000 per month Industry: Real Estate / Construction About the Role We are hiring a Safety Officer for our real estate/construction projects in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing site safety, fire compliance, documentation, and firefighting systems to ensure a safe workplace for all employees and contractors. Only candidates with experience in the real estate field will be considered
Key Responsibilities o Implement and monitor safety procedures, PPE usage, and site safety standards. o Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. o Manage fire safety systems, fire extinguishers, hydrants, and alarms with regular maintenance. o Organize fire drills, emergency response training, and safety awareness programs. o Maintain safety compliance documents, incident reports, and statutory registers. o Ensure legal and government compliance related to safety and fire regulations. o Investigate accidents and near-miss cases, and recommend preventive actions. o Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and management to strengthen the safety culture.
Desired Candidate Profile o Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Environment, Health & Safety (EHS). o 2-4 years of construction / real estate safety experience is mandatory. o Knowledge of firefighting systems, safety audits, PPE, and documentation. o Strong communication and reporting skills. o Preference for candidates with Govt. approved safety certifications.
