: Logistics and Distribution Executive
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products to the right location, meeting quality standards, and optimizing costs. Manages the distribution and transportation of goods, overseeing the entire process or a specific part of the chain, depending on the organization's size and structure. May also be responsible for warehouse management. Additionally, this role involves people and budgetary management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing MIS preparation

• Managing transporter bill clearance

• Monitoring slow-moving and obsolete stock

• Ensuring effectiveness and accuracy of IT systems

• Maintaining metrics, reports, and process documentation

• Mandatory SAP knowledge

People Management:

• Setting departmental objectives/KPIs and assessing direct reports' performance

• Reporting on target achievements and identifying necessary actions

Relationship Management:

• Ensuring timely dispatch of completed orders

• Ensuring appropriate shipping to maintain product quality during transportation

Self Management:

• Actively contributing to a positive team atmosphere

• Anticipating and overcoming obstacles

• Making valuable connections to develop insightful plans and solutions

• Self-motivated, flexible, and effective under pressure

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

• Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree

• Preferred MBA

• 5+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain/transportation

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, components, and supply chain management

• Proficiency in IT systems, including ERP, BOM, and customer data systems

• Advanced Excel skills

Requirements
Requirements:
