About the Role

Cogniter Technologies is seeking a

Manual Tester / QA Engineer

with 2-5 years of experience to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, preparing and executing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free solutions. You'll work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to guarantee project success.

Key Responsibilities

+ Review and analyze

project requirement documents

for accuracy and completeness
+ Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers to define scope and requirements
+ Design, document, and execute

test cases and scenarios

+ Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes
+ Perform

functional, regression, integration, and system testing

+ Report, document, and track

bugs/issues

thoroughly
+ Review and validate reports prepared by junior testers
+ Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery
+ Follow and enhance company QA processes, contributing to continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
+ 2-5 years of proven experience as a

Manual Tester / QA Engineer

+ Strong understanding of

software testing methodologies and QA processes

+ Ability to write clear and comprehensive

test cases and bug reports

+ Hands-on experience with

bug tracking tools

(JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla, etc.)
+ Excellent

communication, analytical, and problem-solving

skills
+ Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
+ Knowledge of

basic SQL queries

for data validation (a plus)
