Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests courteously upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, inform guests of daily specials, and introduce the server responsible for their table.
Manage and update restaurant reservations and waiting lists efficiently.
Answer phone calls professionally, handle inquiries, and record reservations accurately.
Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times, reflecting the hotel's hospitality standards.
Handle guest complaints or feedback courteously, referring issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess desk, entrance area, and menus.
Ensure guest preferences and special requests are communicated to the service and kitchen teams.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Hotel Management diploma preferred).
1+ years of experience as a hostess or in guest service within a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and pleasant personality.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Good knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
