We are looking for a talented and passionate Commi 1 specializing in Indian Curry to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine and a keen interest in creating authentic curry dishes.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking Indian curry dishes according to traditional recipes.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Skills and Qualifications
1-10 years of experience in Indian cuisine, specifically in preparing curry dishes.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
Attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
