Responsibilities:

• Execute 6G welding on pipes at a 45-degree fixed angle using SMAW and GTAW processes.

• Interpret welding drawings, material specifications, and welding symbols accurately.

• Prepare and align pipe joints, ensuring proper fit-up and weld penetration.

• Perform welding repairs and rework as directed by quality control inspectors.

• Maintain welding tools, equipment, and machinery in optimal working condition.

• Collaborate effectively with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Technical Diploma or Trade Certificate in Welding or a related field.

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a 6G Welder in oil & gas, shipbuilding, or construction projects.

• Proficient in both SMAW and GTAW welding techniques.

• Demonstrated expertise in 6G fixed pipe welding (45 position) with consistent quality output.

• Valid Trade Test Certificate (Mandatory).

• Experience working on Gulf or overseas industrial projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and quality requirements.
