Work Schedule (IST Night Shift)

Sunday: 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM

Monday to Thursday: 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM

We are hiring experienced Online English Tutors to deliver 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions to US students (Kindergarten to Grade 8). This role requires strong expertise in English Language Arts (ELA), phonics instruction, and the US Common Core Curriculum. Candidates should be confident in teaching reading, writing, and language skills in an engaging online environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one online English tutoring for K8 students Teach phonics, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills Deliver lessons aligned with the US Common Core Curriculum Adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs Monitor student progress and maintain academic records Participate in training, assessments, and quality reviews

Eligibility / Qualifications

Bachelors degree in English / Education / Linguistics / related field 3-6 years of experience in online or classroom teaching Mandatory experience with US Common Core / American Curriculum Strong phonics teaching experience (early grades preferred) English proficiency: IELTS 7.5 / TOEFL iBT 100 (or equivalent) Excellent communication and presentation skills

Technical Requirements

Laptop/Desktop with Intel i5 / i7 processor or higher High-speed and stable internet connection Power backup to ensure uninterrupted sessions Quiet home setup suitable for online teaching

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in 1:1 online tutoring Exposure to virtual classrooms / LMS platforms Prior experience teaching US or international students
