Plan and arrange materials required for plotting work such as sand, aggregate, PCC, RCC items, pipes, cabling, chamber materials, paver blocks, bricks, etc.
Identify and evaluate local vendors for civil, roadwork, drainage, and utility materials.
Send RFQs, collect quotations, and prepare rate comparisons.
Negotiate prices and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective procurement.
Issue Purchase Orders as per approved BOQ and project specifications.
Coordinate material testing and approvals with QA/QC and site team.
Ensure timely delivery to site for continuous work progress (roads, drainage lines, water lines, electrification, compound, landscaping).
Resolve material shortage, quality issues, and logistics delays.
Maintain procurement records, POs, delivery challans, and stock coordination with storekeeper.
Monitor vendor performance related to delivery timelines, rates, and quality.
