Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations in Gurgaon for a leading building materials company specializing in composite panels. This role is pivotal in driving market expansion, strengthening distributor and dealer networks, and achieving aggressive sales targets. The ideal candidate will leverage deep industry expertise and an established network of architects, developers, contractors, and facade consultants to position our products as the preferred choice in the construction and facade segments. The Area Sales Manager will play a key role in shaping regional sales strategy, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across all sales activities.
Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve regional and organizational sales objectives.
  • Build, manage, and grow a robust network of dealers and distributors across the assigned territory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with architects, developers, contractors, and facade consultants to drive product adoption.
  • Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of the sales team, ensuring efficient workflow and accountability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety protocols across all sales operations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and logistics teams to align sales initiatives with broader business goals.
Requirements
Requirements:
  • 7-8 years of progressive experience in sales within the building materials, ACP (Aluminum Composite Panel), or facade industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and expanding market presence in competitive urban markets.
  • Strong existing network with architects, developers, contractors, and facade consultants in the Gurgaon and surrounding regions.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities with a focus on performance and development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics for tracking performance and forecasting.
