:
Objective: Developing Category Strategy and implementation of strategic sourcing process to delivery buying and contracts at optimized cost, ensuring organization policy compliance and continuous value creation.

Title: Manager- Strategic Procurement - Capex

Function: Strategic Procurement

Work Location: - Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:

- Create and implement sourcing strategy for all capex category , including managing the sourcing (RFx, RFI, RFP, reverse auction, negotiations) and evaluations processes, using appropriate support tools to drive results and deliver savings

- Drive Legal Contract review, Vendor Identification, Negotiation & Selection, Sourcing, Techno-Commercial Negotiation, Strategic Sourcing & Planning, Budgeting and Cost Optimization, , Vendor Management.

- Worked with domestic and global Equipment manufacturers to optimize costs and service.

- Knowledge of contracts, financing models and discounting patterns in emerging markets.

- In-depth knowledge on category segmentation and spend bundling with focus on emerging technologies.

- Execute sourcing events for assigned spend areas, including managing contract negotiation process (pricing, key terms, etc.) and measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other performance metrics.

- Working closely with SC, Projects team and Plant team. Managing category completely and should able to look after plant capex spend.

- Perform advanced analysis to support the Procurement and Sourcing process; e.g., understanding current potential savings opportunities, pricing models, TCO and scenarios.

- Maintain and manage the contract review process and existing contracts, using contract management tools.

- Interface with relevant business partners for procurement support, including understanding of stakeholder spend, jointly setting procurement priorities, and executing continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.

- Maintain regular communication with current suppliers and work collaboratively to resolve ongoing issues and to promote continuous improvement/cost reductions on a proactive basis

- Ensuring compliance to organization and function policies

Geographical Scope: PAN India

Key Customers: Major Stakeholders are project team members and plant managers for Capex

Internal Customers: Supply chain including Projects, Plant, Manufacturing, Finance Teams

Qualifications: B.Tech plus MBA or bachelor\'s degree in finance, Business, or Accounting (MBA a plus)

Experience:

- 5-7 years of experience of Indirect Procurement

- 3 yrs of capex procurement experience

- 3+ years of vendor management or contract management and negotiation

- 7-10+ Yrs of experience

Functional Skills: - Knowledge about procurement / equipment procurement, negotiation process, process and utility Equipment knowledge about greenfield / brownfield projects.

Behavioural Skills:

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Adept at stakeholder management

- A strong understanding of negotiation techniques, strategies, and possesses the skills required to execute

- Must have a strong command and understanding of fundamental analytical techniques, and has the ability to accurately draw conclusions and interpret data

Travel: Yes. Could be twice a month.
