About the Role:




The Hindi Teacher is responsible for teaching Hindi language and literature to students across assigned classes. The teacher ensures improved reading, writing, comprehension, grammar skills, and appreciation for Hindi language and culture. The role involves effective lesson planning, interactive teaching methods, and continuous assessment of student progress.

What you will be doing:




1. Teach Hindi as per the curriculum guidelines of the school

2. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans covering literature, grammar, creative writing, and comprehension.

3. Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids, worksheets, and activities to support language learning.

4. Conduct regular assessments (formative & summative) and evaluate student performance.

5. Guide students in reading Hindi texts, poems, stories, and explain grammar concepts clearly.

6. Encourage students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing Hindi fluently.

7. Maintain a disciplined, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

8. Promote participation, discussions, and language-rich classroom interactions.

9. Address diverse learning needs and support students requiring additional help.

10. Identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide remediation or enrichment accordingly.

11. Encourage student participation in debates, recitation, storytelling, skits, and language-related competitions.

12. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and language development.

13. Collaborate with colleagues for lesson planning, cultural events, and language activities.

14. Participate in PTMs, school programs, celebrations, and competitions related to Hindi Diwas, cultural festivals, etc.

15. Maintain attendance, grade records, and documentation as required.

16. Assist in examination duties, paper setting, corrections, and report card preparation.

17.Follow school rules, academic policies, and maintain professionalism.

Who we are looking for




1. Strong command over Hindi language (grammar, literature, and communication).

2. Ability to teach Hindi creatively and effectively using stories, poems, and interactive methods.

3. Good classroom management and student engagement skills.

4. Excellent communication skills (Hindi essential; English preferred for interactions).

5. Patience, empathy, and passion for language teaching.

6. Ability to use digital tools (smartboard, basic computer applications).
