Job Description

The Primary Hindi Teacher is responsible for developing students' foundational skills in Hindi language, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The teacher will create a supportive and engaging learning environment in accordance with CBSE curriculum guidelines and the school's academic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Hindi lessons as per CBSE syllabus and learning outcomes. Teach basic Hindi grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids. Encourage correct pronunciation, handwriting, and language usage. Use interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, rhymes, role-play, and activities. Assess students' progress through classwork, homework, and periodic assessments. Maintain academic records, attendance, and assessment documentation. Support students with varying learning needs through differentiated instruction. Communicate student progress to parents during PTMs. Participate in academic planning, staff meetings, trainings, and school activities. Uphold classroom discipline, child safety norms, and school policies. Contribute to co-curricular activities such as Hindi Diwas, assemblies, and cultural programmes.

Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in Hindi / B.A. Hindi or equivalent D.El.Ed / B.Ed. (mandatory or preferred as per CBSE norms)

Experience:

1-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE Primary section (preferred)
