Job Title: Highway Supervisor

Role Objective

To supervise day-to-day highway construction activities and ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise site activities related to highway works such as earthwork, sub-grade, GSB, WMM, bituminous layers, drainage, and structures. Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, method statements, and project specifications. Coordinate with Site Engineers, Surveyors, QC, Safety, and subcontractors for smooth execution. Monitor manpower, machinery, and materials at site and ensure optimal utilization. Maintain daily work progress reports and site records. Ensure adherence to safety norms, use of PPE, and implementation of safety instructions at site. Identify and report site issues, delays, or deviations to the Site Engineer/Project Manager. Assist in setting out works and checking levels, alignment, and dimensions. Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline at site. Support quality control checks and rectification of defects.
Educational Qualification

Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Civil Engineering or relevant trade Higher secondary with relevant highway construction experience may also be considered
Experience

Minimum

3-8 years

of experience in highway / road construction projects Hands-on experience in flexible pavement works preferred
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
