Job Description

The Infrastructure Division requires the services of an experienced

Highway Engineer

to support the planning, design, and execution of highway and road infrastructure projects. The role involves providing technical expertise in highway engineering, preparation of designs, and development of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.

Qualification & Experience:-

Post Graduate degree (M.Tech / M.E) in

Highway Engineering / Transportation Engineering / Civil Engineering

from a recognized university. Minimum

relevant experience in highway and road infrastructure projects

. Experience in National Highways / State Highways / major road projects is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

Carry out

geometric design of highways

, including horizontal and vertical alignments, junction layouts, and cross-sections. Perform

pavement design

(flexible and rigid pavements) as per

IRC, MoRTH, and relevant standards

. Design and review

embankments, subgrade, and earthwork

, including drainage and stability aspects. Prepare

road alignments

, drawings, and design documents using appropriate design software. Prepare, review, and finalize

Detailed Project Reports (DPRs)

including technical reports, drawings, quantities, and cost estimates. Coordinate with survey, geotechnical, structures, and traffic engineering teams. Review consultant designs and submissions for compliance with applicable codes and specifications. Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues. Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Technical Skills:-

Strong knowledge of

IRC, MoRTH, and highway design codes

. Proficiency in

MX Road / OpenRoads / Civil 3D / AutoCAD

or similar software. Good report writing and technical documentation skills.
