Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and supervise highway and road construction projects, including expressways, interchanges, and rural/urban roads.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, alignment plans, cross-sections, and pavement design.
Conduct feasibility studies, surveys, and site investigations.
Ensure compliance with IRC, MORTH, AASHTO, and other relevant codes and standards.
Oversee earthwork, pavement layers, drainage, culverts, and structures associated with highways.
Monitor project progress, cost, and quality to ensure timely completion.
Conduct traffic studies, road safety audits, and geometric design reviews.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, geotechnical, environmental, and MEP engineers).
Manage contractor and consultant coordination, reporting, and documentation.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering; Master's degree in Transportation/Highway Engineering preferred.
7-15 years of experience in highway design and construction.
Strong knowledge of pavement design, geometric design, and traffic engineering.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MX Road, STAAD, or similar.
Familiarity with project management tools and quality assurance practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
