Mathematics Teacher

to join our high school faculty. The ideal candidate will have the ability to engage students in a variety of math subjects and instill a love for problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver dynamic, standards-based lessons in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and/or Statistics. Use a variety of instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners and promote mathematical understanding. Create and implement engaging assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Maintain a positive, orderly, and academically focused classroom environment. Integrate technology and real-world applications into lessons to enhance student learning. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success. Participate in professional development, school meetings, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field. Valid state teaching certification (or equivalent) for high school Mathematics. Minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred; new graduates with strong subject knowledge are encouraged to apply. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement.

Preferred Skills:

Experience using educational technology, such as graphing calculators, interactive whiteboards, or online learning platforms. Ability to differentiate instruction and provide support for advanced and struggling learners. Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
