Job Description

:

To deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE curriculum for Grades 8-10, ensuring students develop strong problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics to Grades 8-10 following Cambridge curriculum standards.

Prepare students for internal assessments and IGCSE examinations.

Develop engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, and practice resources.

Assess, record, and report student progress regularly.

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of varied learners.

Foster a positive, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.

Use technology and modern teaching strategies to enhance learning.

Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues about student performance.

Participate in departmental planning, school activities, and professional development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.

Teaching qualification (B.Ed/PGCE/Cambridge certification preferred).

Experience in teaching Cambridge curriculum (Grades 8-10 / IGCSE).

Strong command of subject matter and exam patterns.

Effective classroom management and communication skills.
