Teaching

: Plan and deliver lessons that cover various aspects of English language and literature, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literary analysis.

Curriculum Development

: Design and develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards and educational goals.

Classroom Management

: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behavior and fostering a respectful atmosphere.

Student Assessment

: Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment, providing constructive feedback to support student learning and growth.

Individualized Instruction

: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, including those with special needs or learning challenges.

Parent Communication

: Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic achievements, fostering a collaborative relationship to support student success.

Professional Development

: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on educational best practices, curriculum changes, and advancements in the field of education.

Extracurricular Activities

: Participate in or oversee extracurricular activities related to English language and literature, such as literary clubs, debate teams, or school publications.

Collaboration

: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and other stakeholders to enhance the overall educational experience and promote school-wide initiatives.
