Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in

carrying, lifting, and shifting

long and heavy pipes within the godown. Perform

loading and unloading of pipes

(GI, MS, PVC, CPVC, HDPE, etc.) safely from trucks or tempos. Ensure

proper stacking and alignment of pipes

to avoid bending, damage, or accidents. Support in

checking pipe sizes, lengths, and quantities

during inward and outward movement. Help in

bundling, tying, and securing

pipes before dispatch. Maintain

cleanliness and organization

in the pipe storage area. Follow

safe handling practices

, especially with long-length pipes. Report any

breakage, shortages, or damages

immediately to the supervisor. Assist during

stock counting, inventory checks, and arranging materials

. Coordinate with drivers and team members for smooth loading/unloading operations.

Skills & Requirements:

Physically strong and able to lift heavy and long pipes. Knowledge of safe handling of pipe materials is preferred. Ability to follow instructions and maintain discipline. Willing to work in shifts and overtime as required. Experience in pipe godown work is an added advantage.

Working Conditions:

Work involves

heavy physical labor

and handling long materials. Requires caution in congested or uneven storage areas. May require working in hot, dusty, or outdoor areas.

Pay: ₹12,710.00 - ₹13,500.00 per month
