Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist machinists, fitters, and welders in valve body machining, drilling, grinding, and assembly work. Handle raw materials, castings, and finished valve components safely within the shop area. Load and unload parts from machines and perform cleaning and oiling of components as instructed. Support in assembling valve parts, tightening bolts, fitting gaskets, and applying lubricants under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, tools, and equipment. Help in shifting valves to inspection, testing, and dispatch areas. Follow all safety instructions and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Perform other shop-floor duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum: 8th / 10th Pass Experience: 0-2 years in an engineering or valve manufacturing workshop preferred. Physically fit and capable of handling moderate weight components.

Skills & Competencies:

Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical work. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions. Teamwork and discipline on the shop floor. Awareness of industrial safety and housekeeping practices.
