About The Role
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a growth-minded Helpdesk Security Analyst who will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and ready to give great customer service while helping protect the company assets. This role\'s responsibilities are to help manage the helpdesk, create security reports, and support users. You will work closely with the Manager of IT & Cybersecurity and the Director of Quality and Compliance to build and perform robust operations across the organization. They will serve as the primary cyber security and network management thought partner and will work closely with organizational leaders. This is a fully remote position reporting directly to the Manager of IT & Cybersecurity.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do
Helpdesk Information Technology (30%)

  • Responsible for troubleshooting IT (i.e.,hardware and software) issues with remote staff worldwide.
  • Communicate as a liaison between
    • IT and the Engineering team and Security team with network downage
    • Vendors and internal staff
  • Responsible for tracking user issues, investigations, and resolutions in JIRA Helpdesk.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance from end-users via email and JIRA tickets.
  • Support asset management needs worldwide (BYOD tracking).
  • Provide administrative support to user account creation and maintenance including granting/revoking user permissions, resetting passwords, and unlocking accounts.
  • Provide regular communication to management and others, including an explanation of practices and methods used.
  • Assist with new hire needs (e.g., new hire IT onboarding).
Helpdesk Information Security (70%)
  • Responsible for tracking user issues and asset management compliance needs in Drata, Adaptive, and JIRA ticketing systems
  • Assist with IT and Security needs for executive, committee, and other meetings and members.
  • Respond to urgent and escalated inquiries and requests for assistance from end-users via telephone, email, and JIRA ticketing system
  • Manage and oversee the installations, upgrades, and IT/Security support for all personnel, using PC and MacBook Air and Pro laptops
  • Provide administrative support and oversight for user account creation and maintenance including granting user permissions, resetting passwords, and unlocking accounts.
  • Provide regular communication to management and others, following consistent change management and security management policies and procedures.
  • Assist with technical security administration, testing, and operational support with beta tests and organizational rollouts.
  • Assist in the investigation, mitigation, resolution of security incidents.
  • Daily security alert and log monitoring (Lastpass, VPN, User Reports, DLP, Gmail App Report, Admin log events, and Directory Changes)
  • Help assist the Manager of IT & Cybersecurity with monitoring security reports, quarterly audit reports, and other security needs, as they arise.
  • Assist with new hire needs (e.g., new hire Security onboarding).
  • Assist with SOC 2 Type 2 and other Security audits, as needed.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need
  • Associate\'s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in a professional technology environment.
  • Minimum certification required (CompTIA A+,CompTIA Sec+ and any relatable Cybersecurity certs)
  • Experience with various operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, and Linux)
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic Google (Sheets, Forms, and Slides).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and applications.
  • Strong customer service ethic.
  • Ability to meet or exceed deadlines in a multi-tasking, self-directed environment.
