Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to road safety, knowledge of local and interstate routes, and the ability to maintain the vehicle in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive company vehicles to transport raw materials, finished goods, and staff between factory, warehouses, suppliers, and customers. Ensure timely delivery and pickup as per the production and logistics schedule. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the assigned vehicle. Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tyre pressure, coolant levels) before each trip. Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety rules, and company policies. Keep accurate trip records, mileage logs, and fuel consumption reports. Coordinate with the logistics and admin team for route planning and delivery priorities. Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the management immediately. Assist with loading and unloading materials when required. Ensure safe handling and secure loading of goods to prevent damage during transit.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 8th/10th standard education (higher education preferred). Valid Indian driving licence for LMV / HMV (as per job requirement). Minimum 3-4 years of professional driving experience (preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment). Good knowledge of local and interstate routes. Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues. Strong time management and communication skills. Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights when required. No history of major traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years.

Working Conditions

Factory and warehouse environment with frequent travel. May require early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts based on production schedules and will be paid for overtime. Occasional interstate travel for goods delivery.
