Roles & Responsibilities:

Vehicle operation:

Drive heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, or other large commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods.

Route planning:

Plan and follow the most efficient routes using maps or GPS to meet delivery schedules.

Inspections and maintenance:

Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle for mechanical issues and safety defects, and perform basic maintenance like checking fluids and tire pressure.

Cargo handling:

Load and unload goods, secure cargo to prevent movement or damage, and verify that the load matches the manifest.
