Job Summary

The Heavy Driver at Haribalakrishna Automobiles is responsible for safely driving and handling heavy commercial vehicles for service-related activities, including vehicle pickup, delivery, road testing, and internal movements. The role requires strict adherence to safety norms, company policies, and VECV operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Vehicle Handling:

Drive heavy commercial vehicles safely for service pickup, delivery, and road testing. Transport vehicles between workshop, customer locations, and authorized service points. Ensure proper handling of vehicles to avoid damage during movement.

Service Support:

Assist service advisors and technicians during vehicle movement and testing. Report vehicle performance, abnormal sounds, or issues noticed during driving. Support breakdown and emergency service operations when required.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company driving policies. Ensure use of safety gear and adherence to workshop safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and basic checks of vehicles before and after movement.

Documentation & Coordination:

Maintain driving logs, delivery records, and job-related documents. Coordinate with service advisors, workshop staff, and security during vehicle entry and exit. Report accidents, damages, or delays immediately to the supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Valid

Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License

. Minimum

1-3 years of experience

in driving heavy commercial vehicles. Experience with

Eicher / Volvo / Ashok Leyland / Tata

vehicles preferred. Basic understanding of vehicle operations and road safety. Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours if required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
