Hiring: Heat Treatment Furnace Supervisor

state-of-the-art online heat treatment furnace

and are looking for an experienced

Supervisor

to lead this new unit.

About the Role:

As the

Heat Treatment Furnace Supervisor

, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, quality control, and safety across the heat treatment process. You'll manage furnace parameters, coordinate with teams, and supervise a small workforce to deliver high-quality, treated components.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and oversee online/automated furnaces. Monitor furnace cycle parameters (temperature, time, quenching, etc.). Ensure quality and metallurgical standards are met. Supervise a team of operators and helpers. Conduct regular quality checks (hardness tests, microstructure review). Coordinate with production planning and maintenance teams. Maintain documentation, logs, and safety compliance. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering. 5+ years in a heat treatment environment (preferably fasteners or similar components). Hands-on experience with online/continuous or PLC-controlled furnaces. Good knowledge of quenching, tempering, annealing, and hardening. Ability to interpret technical drawings and material specs. Familiar with hardness testing and basic metallurgical lab practices.

Preferred:

Experience with SCADA/PLC-based furnace operations. Exposure to ISO/TS or IATF quality systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Kaizen practices.
